Anyone interested in doing the MGM Osborne Spectacle of Lights after DaveH's 50's PT?

DaveH is hosting a DIS 50's PTC mini-meet on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at around 5:00 P.M.

I was thinking about asking Mackey Mouse(Marsha) if I could host the Osborne Spectacle of lights after DaveH's DIS mini-meet dinner at MGM's 50's Prime Time Cafe.

Last year they started the Osborne Spectacle of Lights at dusk (which is around 6:15 P.M., I think).

The 50's PTC dinner is in the perfect place and time for it.

Just in case some of you wanted to do Fantasmic show that night, last year there was one Fantasmic show at 6:00 P.M. and MGM closed at 7:00 P.M..

Anyone else interested?

Hi Ray, Could you give me a little more info on the Osbourne lights. Would the plan be to eat dinner do Fantasmic then the lights? I know the lights are something we want to do --Just not sure how to get everything in. Any help would be happily accepted.

Ray, this sounds like a good idea. However, since this is during DIS-CON, this may be a night where one of CC's "surprises" may pop up.

What is DATW?
Do you have to reserve Osbourn Lights? Is there a charge? I've never been to WDW during the Christmas activities.
If the group is going after the meet at 50's Prime time, I would probably want to go also.

Hi, Carl. DATW is a tour arournd te EPCOT lake of countries and try a beer in each country. You don't have to drink anything. You can just be with friends.

I'm just thinking out loud here...lol. Maybe we can still do DATW on Friday like last year. Especially since we won't be having dinner that was part of it last year.

I think that we started at the British Rose and Crown pub last year starting at 6:00 P.M. on Friday evening. We then worked around the world and ended with France.

We could even squeesh in the 6:30 P.M. Tapestry of Dreams parade.

Last year, I think that they let us in for the Illumination Party around 9:00 P.M. for the Illuminations fireworks at 9:30 P.M.

Afterwards, we could exit the International Gateway, take the boat launch to the Swan and be ready to entertain each other at Kimonos.

Just thinking out loud...lol.
