Anyone interested in a pirates tournament on Sunday (new day) night?

Would anyone be interested in having a Pirates of the Caribbean Tournament between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. eastern on Sunday night? I was thinking it might be fun, and wanted to see if there is interest before I work out the details of it.

Any more interest? It doesn't matter what your skill level is. If you want to have some fun with your DIS and VMK buddies, sign up.

Here are my thoughts on how this will be organized:

Depending on the number of people who are intereested, I'd love to have four or five teams of two, three, or four.

Each team will play one game every half hour, playing each of the other teams once.

After each game, a representative from each team can PM the scores from the game. I will enlist the help of the law firm of Dewey Chetem and Howe to tabulate the scores.

The team with the highest cumulative score will be crowned the Pirate champs, and will have bragging rights here on the DIS and on VMK.

The team with the lowest score will be crowned the Pirate chumps, and will have bragging rights here on the DIS and VMK because they were there just to have fun!

I will award a pirate themed prize to members of the winning and losing teams.

I will set up my spare skull rock rooms so that people can yap about thier victories on the high sea, or their defeat at the hand of the evil pirate team they fought against.

I would love to play but I am not all that great and half the time I lose connection or get kicked out of the game.....so even if I do not play can I visit the rooms to listen to the bragging rights!!!!????!!!!

Darksideofthemoon, are you trying to stack your team with good players? I was think we can try to match up strong players with weaker players to make it more competitive.

Once I figure out if there is enough interest in it, I will ask people to give me an honest opinion of their skill level, and we'll try to mix and match to get good competitve teams out there.

Just my opinion but level 3 is the easiest level on Pirates.

Maybe those who are not there yet and want to play in the touri could get help getting there or you could graduate thru the levels????
