I have 2 coupons each one is good for 1 free (yes, FREE) Secret Clinical deodorant - value up to $8.49. I did not use them and they expired on the 28th (ugh!). I was told that the commissary takes expired coupons. Does anyone have access to one that takes them? I'll mail these coupons to you if you do! :)

Post here so people know they are gone...and please PM me your address :) (APO/FPO addresses are fine too!)

You cannot use expired coupons in commissaries. The exception is commissaries overseas where coupons may be used up to 6 months past expiration dates.

Just an FYI. Only "overseas" commissaries accept expired coupons.

Hi there! It's true the commissary won't accept them except on overseas bases. However, they are really in need there! You get a lot less for your money I have heard.

Here is the information of one of many organizations you can mail your coupons to, and they will send them overseas for you.

"Just mail them the cheapest way you can to:

Support Our Troops®
P.O. Box 70
Daytona Beach, FL 32115-0070

SupportOurTroops.Org administers the routing from there forward to base stores worldwide, and to bases across the U.S. following the constantly changing needs related to category and quantity per location."

Thank you for this info! :) I will mail the coupons to them! :)

Thought I would add these details from the website for anyone checking in on this post & thinking of sending coupons ....

Coupons must be :

• From manufacturers for individual products: examples include items like soup, pasta or toothpaste.

• Not for individual stores - coupons for individual stores cannot be used.

• Clipped out individually.

• Packaged in sandwich or quart-size plastic bags

• Not assistance vouchers, not food stamps or the like; not restaurant coupons

• Separated into food, non-food, baby, and pet baggies (the military advises they will recycle unsorted coupons due to lack of manpower).

• Most families prefer food coupons first

• Baby supplies second

• Common household goods third

• Our commissary no longer distributes internet coupons due to on-line forgeries.
