Anyone in the food service business taken the ServSafe class lately??? GOT MY SCORE!

I just took the class for Managersl ast week.Whew!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT was an intensive test!! I do not know yet what my score was but I know I passed it. I do know I missed at least two questions and I think that is all but I should be able to view my results by the end of this coming week. Anyway..I am finished with it for 5 years at least!!

They didn't give you your score at the testing center?

My asst mgr and I took the test last October and we walked out knowing our scores. 92 for me and 93 for her. This really ticked off the prep team managers as they both just barely passed.

Yep, got recertified and then left the business a month later.

We took the test at a County Agricultural Center. The instructors are a part of the Extension Office. They have to mail the tests and then they will be graded.


I wish I could find out every one's test scores though!! Almost everyone taking the test that day were in school nutrition like me (two were from a restaurant there in that town). Some of these ladies did not even know how to color in the little bubbles and some had already failed the test at least once!! Georgia is requiring that each food service facility have one ServSafe certified person so all the schools are trying their best to be in compliance by November.

I was really hoping for a 100 % but I know I missed a question on the Ph levels and I know I missed the correct fish for histamine. I really think I got the rest correct but I still can't wait to see the actual score. Since they trow out 10 of the 90 questions I HOPE at least one of my incorrect answers will be one of the lucky ones!!!

I finally was able access my score online today and I made a 95%. That was pretty good since it was a tough class. WooHoo
