Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

We check-in Dec 7th and I've done online check-in (on MDE it now says "Modify Online Check-in") and I've made FP+ picks for every day of our trip. But, I still don't have the option to personalize Magic Bands. What am I doing wrong????

Okay, I wasn't seeing F! anywhere on the computer, but when I logged in with my phone F! was there for all my HS days Feel so much better now that that is out of the way. Got it for the 9th and 11th

Try to modify your check in, just click through it, you dont have to change anything after that you should be able to customize your magic bands. Hope that helps, worked for me and a few others.

Super excited! Made FP+ selections today! Woot! Got everything I was planning on getting. I haven't customized MB yet, waiting for everyone in my party to make color selections. Traveling 12/8-12/14, split stay at Saratoga and AKL-Kidani.

Try to modify your check in, just click through it, you dont have to change anything after that you should be able to customize your magic bands. Hope that helps, worked for me and a few others.

Work, housework, schoolwork...... who cares? When I modified my check in and saw the words "Customize Magic Bands," everything that was supposed to get done suddenly didn't look so important anymore! Dirty dishes? Hah. Work supposed to be completed online? It can wait. Sleep? Who needs it?
Then I got an email about this being the last night for $1 personalization on items from the Disney store. Well, you can't go in December without everyone having matching personalized fleeces, right?

Went back in tonight (for the 50th time today) and a bunch of new experiences like fantasmic were now loaded. Only thing I wouldn't mind getting now is Wishes since I have a wishes cruise reserved but I will save the $ and cancel if I can snag this! (Got Illuminations already)

How did you get illuminations? Did you have to start from scratch to see it?

I logged in today and was able to make fast pass plus reservations! We have 51 days until we arrive. I have been checking everyday. Thank you for the tip to customize the bands!!! Did anyone else find a limit to the total of fp+ reservations on their total trip. We have 6 day hopper passes and we cut off at 15 fp+'s for our stay. I was expecting 18? Getting very excited for our first trip ever!!!

We have 10 day park hopper tickets, and I accidentally chose a day that we are not at the parks to reserve on the computer. It wanted me to switch days with another day, which was fine and I did switch.

Then later, I wanted to check if F! was an option on the original day that I was spending offsite (but would change if I could get an FP+ for F!). I checked this time on my phone, and when I checked I figured it would give me the prompt again to trade one of my other days to keep it to 10, but it just went all the way through. So, I now have 11 days of fp's even though we only have 10 days worth of tickets, because doing it from my phone there was no warning. This has now made me worried because I can't find anywhere to just delete fp's. I don't want to show up at the park and find out there is some glitch preventing me from using fp's at all because I have too many days

I doubt this will happen, but I'd feel a whole lot better if I could just delete one of those days of fp's to make things 'correct'.

But anyways, if you want to take the risk for more fp's on different days, you can always do it from your phone. Makes me panicky though

It was a choice from regular list (Dec 7th)... Last night, moments after it was discovered that FP+ was open.

I got a bit of a surprise today when the "Personalize Magic Bands" link popped up. Especially considering I'm still 76 days out and don't check in until January 2nd. I was able to personalize bands with the names of all 4 members of our group, but right now, only the color gray is showing up. It says I can edit it up until December 2.

Anyway, I just found it strange as I've been searching the board and hadn't found anyone else with a January check in date saying they've been able to personalize their MB's yet. Obviously, I can't be the only one.

I am happy with what I was able to get however really jones-ing for a fp+ for BoG. Really hoping the option pops up at some point. A little frustrated that I have to keep looking for it. Every time I go in to check I'm paranoid I will loose all that I have.

Very excited that I get to try this out.

Where do you have to check for the BOG fp+ will it be listed in the same area as the rides? We are going Dec 7-14 and have most our fp in place but would love to do that!

Shoot...we only bought 5 day passes so far. We have 7 nights. We're likely upgrading to dvc APs. Will I only be allowed 5 days of choices or still 8?

Was this for a date prior to Dec 8th? Apparently fantasmic, parades, wishes and BOG for arrival prior to December 8th are the only ones in the system so far... Others will be loaded soon.

My arrival is the first week of Dec. I found Fantasmic but no Wishes or parades. Has anyone found those for Dec2-9 yet?

Ugh I just logged on and I am still not able to do anything... We arrive Dec 7 at GF We have our AP linked to our reservation. I don't wanna do online check in because we have a lot of requests on our room reservation... Like since its our 1st anniversary trip were desperately trying to get the exact room that we had for the wedding/honeymoon... And if not the same room at least the same building with a room close to where we had it last time... In afraid if I do online check in some of that may not be granted.

You have to do online check in I think for the magic band option to pop up.

But you can always call ahead with your room requests. Online check in doesn't have a bearing on that. We've done that before and I got what I wanted.

You'll only be allowed to make choices for the days you actually have linked to MDE. :/.

But you can always call ahead with your room requests. Online check in doesn't have a bearing on that. We've done that before and I got what I wanted.

Unless something has changed in the last few days, you do not need to do online checkin in order to get magicbands.

I have two sets of MB's from two different trips and I did not do online checkin for either trip.
