I watch a lot of Korean Dramas (Kdrama). Just curious if there are any others out there. Most people I know don't watch them.

If you do watch them, where are you watching them? I watch some on Netflix, but I also subscribe to DramaFever on my SmartTV. I use to use free programs on my laptop but my laptop ended up getting malware and the ad's that play every 5 minutes get annoying. I know there are other subscription sites to watch that are ad-free. Curious to find another one that I might like as much as DramaFever so I can expand my shows. :)

My kids make fun of me. What else are kids for? But I watched the KDrama Good Doctor a couple years ago... and guess what... now my 23 year old son is loving the American Version. I was like... yea, old news... if you want to know what happens, just let me know. My son watched the first episode of Kdrama Good Doctor just to compare at the opening scene, exactly the same scene! LOL. He didn't watch to much future to believe me it was the same show redone for American TV. Then he noticed and did a screen shot of the American Good Doctor that actually says "based on the Korean Drama."

Viki.com and Kocowa.com are both free. If you pay for Vikipass you can watch them ad free. My daughters watch a lot of kdramas ( younger daughter in high school has watched 84 series of kdramas!) and have got me hooked on them too.

Are there any good Chinese drama shows and websites to find them? I have relatives that like to watch them (or even kdrama with Chinese subtitles)

I used to watch k-dramas a lot but life got busy so it’s been a couple years (!) since I last watched. Plus add in how addictive they were and I was losing sleep (just one more tonight...:scared:). When we made our 2nd trip to Korea 7 years ago, we even made some stops at some k-drama sites (Coffee Prince & Boys Over Flowers)!

I’ve watched over a dozen fully, started and stopped a handful too (just couldn’t get into them). Coffee Prince is by far my favorite and I own it. Drama fever was usually my go to but also drama crazy as well as Netflix. Just typing this out makes me want to watch one again. Maybe I’ll look around Netflix for one :cutie:

My daughter says viki.com has many chinese and other asian dramas and you can choose a language for the subtitles.

I use to use viki on my laptop. I will have to look at it again. I prefer the SmartTV or my AppleTV in the bedroom because my laptop is about to crash again and I dont plan to replace it since It since No longer take online classes. So DramaFever has an app for SmartTVs.

I haven’t heard of Kocowa so thanks for that one.

Crunchyroll is one that think use to be popular. I don’t know if it still is.

The original site I watched on stopped uploading. I guess you can say they went out of business? Or no longer had time.

I have lived In Korea for close to six years when when I was active duty (three tours) and got addicted during my first tour when one of my TV channel aired them with English subtitles. My step-mom is also Korean. I do watch mostly Kdrama, but every down and then watch a Tdrama.
