Anyone here use Ancestry.com?

I thought playing around on this site would be a fun project. It started out that way, as I was building my family tree. Now I can't seem to add anyone to my tree. Its just spins and whirs like its adding the people I enter, but then nothing. It comes back with the same tree without the addition. I've tried to add multiple people several times. I can't seem to find any sort of forum or help on the site.

Did you pay to get on the site?
I pay for it, mostly winter months when I can't get to the library or place to do research. Never had a problem with it at home or the library

Sure did. I bought a monthly World membership. It was working fine for awhile. I'm still researching records now, but I'm unable to save anything to my tree. Its really frustrating. It sure would be nice if they had a user-friendly forum on their site to find some help with this problem. All I could do was send them an email.

I've noticed the same results while trying to add people to my tree this afternoon.

I've subscribed to the site for about six months - the only other time I've noticed issues was when the previous round of updates were added.

I didn't pay it much attention, but, I noticed a message on their website recently indicating that another round of updates were going to be delivered...I wonder if this is a problem caused by a recent change?

They actually do have a forum. If you look under the Collaborate heading, there is a message board. Go to the second set of categories and click where it says More Topics Categories. Click on Ancestry.com. Most help issues are posted under the Ancestry Improvements and Ancestry Comments sections. Someone actually already posted a comment about new people not being saved to their tree and several people have responded that they are having the same issue. I hope that helps.

Thanks everyone. At least now I know its not just me. I was thinking it could also be user-overload with their free weekend. I've been seeing a lot of commercials on tv for it.
