Nope, I don't like spending all that money on flowers, since they die, and the resturants will be to crowded and i'm dieting so candy is out. I bought an exercise ball last week and DH bought a new game for his PC so we called that our V day presents...we're such hopeless romantics.
My son has beening throwing up all day. My daughter seems to be feeling better. The 20 month old can't understand why he has to stay away from his brother and sister. I think that I probably shouldn't try because he's either going to get it or he isn't.
Nothing special here. My husband works until 8, so then he will probably bring home something for dinner. I feel bad, because he sent me flowers and instead of saying thank you I told him he shouldn't have. I will be on my best behavior tonight, because I made him feel bad too.
Believe it or not, it was kind of special and fun. Just my DH and I and couple of paint rollers and brushes. We talked and laughed and truly enjoyed each other's company for the hours it took us. I'm actually glad we did it today! I pictured bickering and arguments and stuff but it didn't happen. We had a great time together.
DH asked a few days ago if I wanted him to spend $$ on Valentines day. My response was that it would be cool if one day he came home with flowers or chocolates or something...it would be really romantic and I'd enjoy it. However , I see no reason for him to run out and do it on Saturday just because it happens to be February 14th. We'll see if he takes the hint and surprises me one day soon.
This is really ugadog. Didn't feel like logging Carrielee out and me back in. We have been painting-again! I knew when we bought this house every room would have to be redone. What a pain! Oh well, IF if EVER gets finished it will look really nice.
We've had Lion King 1 1/2 playing all day. I have four boys and they have each, at different times, wanted to watch it today, so it's been on quite a bit. We're all watching it now, looking for hidden mickeys. (Actually, I'm on the computer, but they and my DH are looking for them)
We did get my 3 year old's hair cut, which is very special in my book. Other than that, it's been a pretty boring day. Oh, my DH did surprise me with a box of Godiva chocs. I keep finding my way over to it for just "one more".
