Anyone here like Mallomars? Or what is your favorite store bought cookie!

My favorite store bought cookie of all time is the Mallomar. It consists of a graham cracker crust, marshmallow on top all covered in dark, dark chocolate. Due to the fact that they use real chocolate they do not make them during the summer months and right about now I usually get a craving for one. They are available again in September and some of the stores here in NYC put up signs in the windows saying " Mallomars are back!"


Anyone else like Mallomars and wish you could get them in the summer? If not, what is your favorite cookie?

We used to eat Mallomars when I was a kid, maybe its a NY/NJ thing?! I also love those rainbow cookies that you can get in the NY/NJ area. My Mom brought some to FL with her on her last visit.

I have been craving strawberry Newtons for a few weeks now but I can't find them in the stores, whats up with that?

suzannews, do you mean those tri-colored cookies you buy in the bakery? Those are my absolute favorite cookie ever. BTW, I love your Bon Jovi Rocks tag - are you looking forward to the box set?

Linda - Mallomars are my fave store-bought cookie. Why can't you get them in the summer? (Disregard that question - I just re-read your post), but I think my supermarket sells them all year. I'll have to check next time I go. I don't buy them anymore b/c I can eat the whole darn box in one sitting.

I love Mallomars! I drive everybody crazy annoucing when they are back!

When I can't get Mallomars, I buy Oreos. They are my favorite store bought cookie because I can't make them myself. I can make better chocolate chip cookies (but Pepperidge Farms are pretty good.)

And if I'm going to a bakery, I'll buy some of those rainbow cookies.

I love the Keebler Grasshopper Fudge Mint cookie. I think they taste just like the Girl Scout Thin Mints.

Oh yes I LOVE, love, love Milano's. I could eat the entire package and then some....

I also love the coated animal crackers and grasshoppers as well.

I think I have a theme going, anything coated, covered and otherwise awfully fattening...

Also I like the strawberry, vanilla and chocolate wafers.

Ah how could I forget Girl Scout Cookies, not really store bought but during the season you can find them selling them infront of most stores!
