hey there neighbor, where do you normally stay?? We are dvc members. And I 100% prefer this board rather then the dvc board.. Those people are so mean on there.. Happy to see nice people on here!!!

Looks like we have quite a few here from western Racine county!

For the past 2 years we have stayed at the Polynesian - this is primarily because we have 5 people in our family (me, DH, DS9, DS6 & DS6), and we tend to prefer the Magic Kingdom resort area. This year we'll be doing the Poly yet again, as part of our 7-Night Land & Sea vacation in November. It will be my 15th trip to the World, but our first time on DCL - we're so excited!

How long have you been in DVC? Do you just love it?

we have been dvc members since 2003. yes we do love it, we want to buy more pts. Thats how much we love it. We just got back from ssr the 29th. It was a wonderful trip. I only had a few complaints. I have a 17 month old and we were right next to the fire station which had calls all the time. Also we have an annual due that we pay every year for up keep of the resorts. And the bathrooms at ssr in the lobby area were in some rough shape. I am not going to go into details. I did that before on the dvc board and people actually got defensive. I was called a "troll" even, what ever that might mean? I think we did the right choice by joining when we did. If you have any questions about it pm me!

Well I am not from WI but from Rockford IL, the airport here goes to MCO Orlando International airport. I will be going in the end of May with my family. Just do not want to do the drive. Allegiant Air is the carrier, they have good prices right now check them out.

The name of the town is Shiocton. It is about 30 miles west of Green Bay. The closest diser to me that I have seen on the boards is in Greenville, WI which is only about 12 miles from me.

We drove to WDW in April 2004. 23 hours straight through - but we had 4 drivers and 3 kids plus grandma! We left after work on Friday and drove straight through Illinois in the dark - when the kids woke up we were in TN and the mountains were very pretty that early in the morning!!

My family also lived in Milwaukee, Appleton, Cedarburg and Wautoma while I was growing up -- we moved a lot!

We are from the Delafield area (about 20 miles west of Milwaukee). Grew up in northeast WI. We are driving down to WDW this year. Yikes!

We live in Racine. DD and DS are going to school at Madison. Joined DVC in 2006. BWV is home resort, as we spend 90% of our time at EPCOT. DW was sick the last two days of our trip last month, so we are going back in April. Taking our wine drinking pals to their first F&W, first week of November, and then back in mid Dec. for DW's 50th birthday!!

Rural southwest Wisconsin here. It's nice to see so many from the frozen tundra. I heard the snow will be gone by June, but the person didn't say what year . Hope all who have WDW trips this year have a great time. We went last year and will not be able to go again for quite a few years so I lurk here to get my "fix". Thanks to all posters for suppying it. .

Hello from Green Bay!! My parents are in New London, so I'll wave next time I drive through Shiocton. We stop and watch the stugeon run every year. DD7 thinks it's the coolest.

Lived in Waukesha (Milwaukee area) thru childhood and the family drove do Disney twice. We stopped overnight both times, but since I was just a kid, I don't remember where.

We aren't headed out until May, and I envy those of you getting out of this snow sooner than that. This feels like the never ending winter!!
