yet another transplant here! Originally an Alabamian, moved to the Keys for 4 1/2 years and been in St. Pete for 2 1/2 years. Hope you enjoy it here in Florida!

And how are you liking Tallahassee?

I like it, so far. I'm looking forward to venturing out in the spring to the beaches etc. We were too busy getting settled in last summer to go anywhere. Still trying to find doctors, dentists etc. That's one of the negatives about moving!!!

Pensacola here...about as far away as you can get from the mouse and still qualify for resident rates!

daytona Beach. Been here 4 yrs. came here from Anaheim, yep, i gave up Disneyland for WDW, not sure if that is good or not lol

Do you have any rec's for good pediatricians or familt dr's? What about dentists in the area? This has been the hardest for me to find here. I just keep taking everybody to Physicians First. Know of any good ones around the NE side of town? I keep getting rec's from the ladies at the school, but I can't seem to find the dr's they are telling me about as being covered under our insurance. TIA

Donaldseeyore, I'm on the NE side also!! A pediatrician is the ONLY doctor I have found. I just saw one recently. Dr. Martin at Professional Park Pediatrics. He was recommended to me by one of my student's parents. He was very good, very thorough. I'm still trying to find family Drs. also

I teach at Annsworth Academy on Kerry Forest. My oldest DS is at Chiles and my other DS is at DeSoto Trail. I'm jealous! I could use "8 magical days" at Disney!!!!

Floridian living in Hawaii! We keep our residency in Fla for those instate rates though!! (military) I'm from just south of Jacksonville and have a house there as well.
