@vicarrieous, sorry it took so long, but I wanted to get back to you to tell you how much we loved La Crosse. It was our favorite place we visited in the 4 months we were away. If we didn't have family in North Carolina that we've lived away from for too many years, we'd spend our summers in La Crosse, when DH retires. You live a wonderful area.

I am glad you enjoyed it! Growing up here I take it for granted sometimes, but it really is a lovely area. Next time you come up this way, let me know and I can send you some great places to hid up.
