I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Radisson Resort hotel in Celebration. It has three stars and the photo's from the website don't seem bad, but some reviews have me kinda worried. I got my three day vacation package from Priceline with flight and hotel totaling $504 so I couldn't really beat the price. Some reviews say the hotel is fine with free shuttles to Disney and Universal and but other reviews talk about the rooms not being clean, roaches, etc. I leave tomorrow but if it's really bad I might have to find a different hotel near Disney. But have any of you all heard or stay at this hotel? If so what are your thoughts?

The first thing is it is not in Celebration. Other than that I know nothing about it.

I just think it is misleading for them to plug it as 'Celebration' which would lead you to believe your setting is quite different.

I am actually here right now. Just wanted to say this hotel isn't terrible after all. The reviews really had me freaking out but my stay here Friday, and yesterday (Saturday) have been fine. The room is fine and the hotel is literally 10 mins from disney. Like as soon as you go onto the main road just keep going straight and you will be right in disney looking at the "Welcome to Disney World" sign. The only draw back to this is if you are like me and don't have a rental car is that you have to use the hotel shuttle or uber. The hotel shuttle isn't bad but it pick up and drop off times are limited and it only goes to Epcot. You have to use disney's transportation to get to other parks which slow you park time down depending on crowds and bus schedule. It's just easier to stay at a Disney Resort and use Magical Express and the Disney Transportation system. But if you are trying to do Disney on a budget and are local to Orlando or you decide to buy a rental car, this hotel is a good option.

3 Stars is fair for this hotel.

I stayed at the Radisson for three nights prior to check-in to my timeshare resort. My family really enjoyed the time we spent there. The only downfall we encountered was being in a regular hotel room for 3 days was NOT our preference for a vacation. Too close for comfort in our opinion but that holds true for any hotel for us. Anyway, the Radisson is very close to Disney. But no matter how close, if staying off-site without a car, it can be very frustrating and time consuming.
