Anyone here ever sell some of there points?

THIS IS NOT I REPEAT NOT A FOR SALE POST!


Okay now that thats out of the way we realize that we don't need all the points we own and are thinking of selling 2 contracts off. My question is has anyone here every sold some of their points and if so did you use a broker and if so would you mind sharing who they were?


I am just a DVC member trying to get a little info into what to expect - I have ALWAYS been on the buying end of resales and I am a little lost in how to proceed.


Any Advice?

Selling a contract now and using Pat Spell at the Timeshare Store. I had used Pat to purchase a contract and was impressed with her and the Timeshare Store.

There are also other timeshare brokers that other folks on this board have used. Other options include selling on EBay and a private listing on TUG - a timeshare users group bulletin board (www.tug2.net). Both of these latter options ensure that you as the seller get a larger cut of the sales price.

Dean has had some experience selling off DVC contracts in the past, as have a number of others. Perhaps they will enlighten.
