I just purchased the Rich Dad Poor Dad and Cashflow Quadrant books by Robert Kiyosaki. We fall into the category of self employed middle class. Just wondered about feedback of these books and if applied these principles worked for you or seem to be working toward your goals.
The reason I ask on these boards is I figure most on here are middle class in finances since Disney is not an inexpensive vacation spot.
Also, the Cashflow games that came from the same author, has anyone played those and do you feel those help. I am of the mindset that you work hard and save and then you live for retirement. But, I see the path we are on and it just leads to more debt.
It may seem crazy to open up my life even this much, but I feel there are many others like me or the been there-done thats that have found a way out. Granted I have no problem with working, I have literally all my life, I just would like some financial freedom.
Any feedback would be great!!
