I remember reading somewhere (but can't remember where) that you can arrange for gifts to be in your room on arrival - I think champagne was one thing, hamper of fresh fruit another, I'm wondering if they do anything similar for children - balloons, sweetie hamper - as it's the youngest's birthday I thought it would be a nice surprise for him, but I can't seem to find any information anywhere - can anyone help ?

Even if you didn't book direct with them they hopefully can tell you who to contact.

Just one question will the telephone be answered by someone who speaks English, I can only manage Bonjour, merci, au revoir - which isn't really going to help me much.

English won't be a problem.

Even if I try to speak French bonjour etc they switch to English straight away. (must be my terrible French accent.)

If the person who answers can't help I'm sure there will be plenty who can and they should be able to put you through.

Fantastic news - I spoke to Stephan an extremely helpful CM at the Newport Bay Club today ( who spoke impeccable English BTW).
He has made a note that it is Liam's birthday and will arrange for balloons and a signed Birthday Card from Mickey Mouse himself in our room at no extra cost.
He's asked me to ring 3 days before we arrive just to double check that these arrangements are in place.
Isn't Disney wonderful.
