My mother gave me an "old" Mickey Mouse doll yesterday and she really has no history behind it other than she picked it up in her travels in Europe. It is a 19" MM with a hard plastic head and torso. The torso, arms and legs are all covered in black material and the feet are brown leather on bottom and beige cotton on top. The details on the face are painted on the plastic (ie. black ears, red tongue). The arms and legs have foam inside them with rods in the middle...when you stand the doll up and squish the hands, the legs march. There are some details stamped into the back of his head: Wald Disney Productions, Hasbro Ind. Inc, Pawtucket, Rhode Island;Made In Hong Kong.
There is a tag on his "tush" that says " Marching Mickey Mouse, then some same details as on his head, then also material details and "282 Reg No. PA., Pat. Pending.
Anyone know how old this doll may be and if it has any value?
Thanks, Jo
