Anyone heard of E Ticket Magazine??

Has anyone ever seen one of these? I am very interested in hearing anything you know about it. Thank You!

My dad has a subscription (4/year) he got for Christmas last year. He has only gotten one issue and it is has some interesting facts and background info on Disneyland as well as some other things that are tied to Disney. For the most part it covers Disneyland, but it has some nice pictures.

He was supposed to have gotten another issue in the Spring, but didn't. He emailed the magazine and was told one of the authors died and the partner (I think he's brother) was the only one that would be doing the magazine now. So it is taking longer to get the next issue out. He still hasn't received the next issue, which would be the Spring 2004 issue, so I'm not sure if you ordered a subscription now when you would get a magazine. I guess you could subscribe and see what happens.

I've subscribed to the E-Ticket almost from the very beginning and I still have ALL my old issues! It covers Disneyland attractions, Imaginears and history in unmatched depth. Great old pics all the time! Although the WDW coverage is rare, the mag is a must for fans of early Disneyland.

I've known both brothers for many years and the passing of Leon Jantzen last year left Jack Jantzen to carry on their labor of love alone. He is an honorable man and if he says he will do the job, you can bet it will get done.

Early issues of the E-Ticket regularly sell for amazingly high prices on eBay. Issues are never reprinted but CD-Roms are available, as well as extra copies of more recent OOP issues.

While the mag is Disneyland oriented, I think anyone who truly loves Disney and the concept of Imagineering would enjoy the publication.

I agree with the other posters. I only have one of the very old issues, all about the Haunted Mansion, but I've bought the back issue CD-ROMS. It's a great, great magazine.

I have bought a lot of the back issues and love them! I wish I had bought the Haunted Mansion one it now goes for $75+ on E-bay!

Has anyone got "Persistence of Vission"? I am also waiting for several issues (it has been several years.)
