Anyone heard about new guidebooks?

What is the scoop? Is it time for new point charts? When did we get them last time?

Think we'll get small ones like last time or new larger ones that include info about SSR? (We could use some new bathroom reading material! )

I think we should receive an all new guide, since the addition of SSR adds to the number of resorts. Plus, I want something new to look at! How old is the old guide, anyway? We bought in 2002, and I think it was made the year before?

I doubt that we will be seeing an all new guidebook this year. They may put out an additional Vacation Planning addendum like last year's, but I think that showed up sometime in September. Obviously we're way past that time frame.

I'm just wondering if they're going to get more and more away from printed stuff, and just direct you to the website. I hope not because it's nice to have something "concrete" in your hands to look at.

I did a search to see when they came out last year. They were out the first of Oct. Let's hope we will see them soon. I am trying to plan a trip for the end of March 2006, and would like to see the point chart soon.

At the rate they've been reducing, I'm expecting a post card this year...guess we'll have to stick with Uncle John's Bathroom Reader.

If my memory serves me correctly we get these things late September, or early October. So we should be getting something shortly.

I vote for the full book. The nonsense we got last year was a tad disappointing.

Well I was disappointed when we got the "newly revised one". I thought the looseleaf was a much better idea and easier to find things in. I really hope they go back to that form. I would also think that the cost for keeping that up-to-date would be much less as they only have to send out the corrected pages to be substituted as opposed to the entire new book.

they were late last year - the end of Oct/Nov - so this year I would even expect them until Nov.

Yes they were surpose to go out first of Sept - but I don't think they will go out until they decide about Atlantis - I would expect a new book - not old is SSR something to brag about - but getting Atlantis should be worth a few pages too
