:thumbsup2 I read today the CMs have been soft opening a version where the Gforce is missing and more people can enjoy the ride, including younger children, so making this more attractive to park guests :thumbsup2 I think it's a great idea :thumbsup2

It's the g-force effects that make the ride what it is. If you remove those it doesn't make for a very interesting ride.

That sounds great!!! In February I rode it for the first time, and I felt so ill afterwards, and I don't get motion sickness all that much :sad2:

It could encourage me to ride again

I totally agree. After following all the guidelines by posters on where to look on the screen and to keep head centred and held back... felt wiped out most of the afternoon. DF sat it out and thought it was hilarious seeing me hunting for the nearest bench as i left the ride :sad2: . I don't have any issues on simulators normally so it def wasn't that aspect, but the spinning that got me. I'd love to try it again, but wouldn't risk wasting a magical day :cheer2: Altho with the new alterations .....

ITA Tim. I just hope they don't remove it altogether and leave the option to ride it with or without the G-Force effect :)

I think its a great idea, giving you the option of trying it without the G-force would at least let me and others who suffer with motion sickness at least have a look inside the ride and get an idea what it is like. I know it wont feel exactly the same but I think its great. :thumbsup2

Lets hope they keep both options so everybody can enjoy it :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 There will still be the version WITH the G-force so folks get to choose which option they want to experience great for all I think especially the die hard thrill seekers :goodvibes :goodvibes :thumbsup2 Just great to finally have a choice!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

That's a great idea. I would never ride it, due to the fear of sickness, but it would be great to have a choice.

Hi
I read about this on all ears and think its a great idea - I get really bad motion sickness so this sounds great to me

I'm pleased that Disney have made the move to open up the ride to more people :) but I am sooooo relieved that they have not totally wiped out the original for all those of us who enjoyed it :thumbsup2
