Looks like for add on's >100pts they are essentially offering a "magical beginnings" at $8/pt or $5 off without losing your '04 pts. Adding in the one time 100 pts for a 120 pt purchase I am figuring the equivilant of $81.67/pt when you keep your '04 pts and $88.67/point when you don't (assuming a value of $10/pt) .

100 or more is:
$87 if skip 04
$90 is you want 04

120 or more give a 100 point bonus into 05.

I just bought 120 at $90, with the 120 June 04 points and and extra 100 June 05.

There is so much talk of "giving back" points. What does this mean? I am looking into purchasing 150 pts, and then adding on another 150 (if this works out to be a better deal). So I don't have any points to give back in the first place.

Does anyone know how long this incentive is good for? This could be just what I need to get rid of the winter blues. Of course, DH could use some convincing since we just bought a car this week. But hey, tax return and bonus time is just around the corner!

The best advice I can give you is to Call Your Guide. If you do not yet have a Guide assigned to you, you can call DVC and they will assign you one. Ours is excellent (same one as MOM POPPINS) and has always given us prompt and truthful responses to all of our questions (how many timeshare salespeople can you say that about?!). I would be happy to give you her direct line if you want to send me a PM.

Just to recap, the best way to clear up your confusion is to talk to your Guide: go directly to the source. If you have not yet called DVC, I would be happy to give you our guide's number as she is excellent!

This is a good deal! It seems you could get 2 years of points in one plus an additional 100!
