I have seen __A_ mouse in my garage and seen his little poopies everywhere. So I bought some mousetraps that you put peanut butter (or whatever) in and turn them and when the mouse goes in it shuts them in there. So far I have caught 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! So I work retail and just got home tonight and was pulling into the garage vvvvvvvveeeeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy slowly just watching.........I couldn't believe it, I SWEAR this mouse went flying by he jumped off of something and landed who knows where..........I am afraid to go in my own garage...any advice???
maybe I'll move...............

Well - you "could" try to handle this yourself, but remember, they breed VERY quickly and you could be overrun in no time flat.. With winter coming, they're trying to get in out of the cold.. If you don't want to mess with this, I'd call an exterminator..

They had chewed up Beanie Babies and little shreds of carpet and carpet padding (the house was and still is under renovations, so the carpet was partially torn up) to make the nest, and we found it, the mother was hanging out in one drawer, and her babies were in the drawer above, probably not more than two days old. It took a million of those peanut butter catch and release traps and (dare I say it here?) some poison, to get rid of the problem. It was a total infestation; they were running through the walls and everything else. They're gone now, and we haven't heard from them in well over a year.
