Anyone having trouble making ressies lately?!?

I hung up and decided to call to change our reservation. I only needed to call them because yesterday I added one day to our reservation and then in the confirmation email it mentioend how much deposit needed to be paid by Dec 21, 08 --- and how much we'd paid then. And now it's a few dollars off because we added a day! I wanted to go ahead and pay for the entire reservation so they don't cancel it on us since the email said if the deposit isn't paid in full by the date it showed it could be cancelled (what I mean is our deposit amt changed since we added a day and I didn't want that to cause us to get cancelled!)

but anyway yesterday when I was on the phone before I hung up she asked me if I wanted to make any dining reservations and I told her I couldn't until today... she was like oh yeah that's right I get confused on what day it is (LOL) -but anyway I thought maybe I could handle this "issue" of the change/deposit amt changed and then maybe make my one ADR after that- but I'm still on hold with reservations also! This isn't even the dining line- it's the reservations line and I chose "to change reservation" and I'm still on hold now... wow, they are really bogged down today! I hope this doesn't mean we can't get our ONE ADR we want! :( I'm really going to run out of cellphone minutes soon too. :(
 
I was having the same problem this morning! I finally got mad, hung up, called back, selected the "other" option and was able to talk to a supervisor. She was able to make reservations for me 5/26/09-5/29/09. She was very nice! I suggest that you try this method of making reservations as it worked for me.
Well I have no idea how you did that but you were lucky I guess! I tried other and still got put on hold. I called reservations to handle my issue with the change I made yesterday made the deposit different (found out in email later) and then asked about making the reservation- the lady yesterday tried to do that at the end of the call but I told her i had to wait till today as it would be 90 days out.
ANYWAY, I asked him and he said he couldn't do it (got attitude with me right away- there really is a difference in the CM's isn't there!) and so I asked for a supervisor- more attitude about supervisor won't be able to help me yada yada- so then finally put me thru to guest services (?) and the lady there is saying she can't help either.

she said she tried but it won't let her on the new system so we have to go thru the wait on the right line (thru dining number) for that. UGH! You were so lucky to get that worked out the way you did... must have been a fluke that it worked for you. LOL All we want is one reservation but at this point I'm like whatever... maybe this is a sign we don't need to pay over $250 for us to do tier 2 hoop de doo revue! Save me a buttload of money I guess. We've just never done it before and wanted to try something different and we're staying at FW this trip! :(
