Anyone having problems booking with Dollar via the website ????
I have used and booked with Dollar MANY times , and they are my "go-to" car rental co. lately (after Alamo, and especially Budget went down the list for me ) .
Anyway, I have been trying for 3 days to book a car rental from Dollar via the website for January, and I CAN NOT DO IT !!!!
It keeps coming back with an error .............
"We're sorry; our system encountered a temporary problem in processing your request. Please try your request again or contact us at 1-866-434-2226 (Comments ReservationService6001)"

Anyone else having this problem ???
I am an Express member and they have all my info already pre-populated , and it still wont let me book ???
I even tried it without signing in to Express ..........still NADA .

Anyone else ????? Could it be I am just too far out for a reservation ? I am only trying for January 2018 !

Well, tried again today ............still nothing. Tried different computers and browsers too .
I even tried with a different e-mail address , name .........anything I could think of just to try and get something to go through ........NADA .

What the heck ????

Still cant book for January even though the prices are up on the website , and they are actually fluctuating. I can get all the way to the confirmation page , then nada .
I tried this morning for a December date, to see if January was just too far out , as Jan is just over 6 months away .
A reservation for December worked perfectly . So I guess that January is just too far out to make a reservation with Dollar even though all the rates and car options are up on the website.
Perhaps they have a 6 month cut off ? Oh well ..............will wait a little while longer . Just don't seem to remember this happening before. I always book early for everything .

We had that exact issue. It was when I tried to book the return to a different dollar. We decided to use a car service instead.
