Anyone having ebay log in problems?

I was trying to log on to ebay and when I put my info in a screen comes up saying "we have noticed fradulant activity recently on ebay and for my security you need to enter in info"
They are wanting my name, dob, ss#, mothers maiden name, cc #, exp date for the card, pin number????
I am not comfortable putting all this info in. Does anyone know how to contact ebay When I click on contact there is no number to call or email. It prompts me to log in again, which then takes me to the page to put all that info in again. UGGGGGGHHHHHH-- if anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks

I was on ebay earlier today - nothing like that came up at all for me. Sounds like they've been hacked or you have been somehow.

Obviously, do not respond to ANY of this. Classic scam.

Run a virus program to make sure your computer is clean.

Hopefully you were not hacked, but you need to go to Live Help just in case. I tried to log into my account last summer after having not been in it to sell for about 6 months. It would not take my password. So they told me yep, I had been hacked. All the emails were sent to an account that I had set up just for ebay, and since I wasn't selling on there, I never checked the account. Apparently, the person who hacked my account sold a $10,000 Les Paul guitar! My final value fees that they wanted were crazy!

How do you get to "live help"? Everytime I click on contact us, it takes me to the log in page, which when I put in my log in info. it takes me to the page saying I need give them all that personal important info.

I always get E-MAILS like that from "ebay" or "paypal" asking for my old password and new password and other BS. but i have never gotten a message like that while trying to log on.
