Anyone having a BBQ this weekend??

It is lovely and sunny here in Plymouth, DH went off to play golf at 6.30am

So tonight we are going to have a BBQ, we brought a new Weber Gas BBQ last weekend

What do you guys have on your BBQ??

DH is going to have some marinaded chicken I will have Quorn Of course some sausages and I might do some veggie kebabs!

Any othere suggestions??

mmmmm, not for you Kaylee, but we sometimes get some lovely steak from the farm shop which always tastes so much nicer on the barbie.

I also love sweetcorn in foil, and wedges of peppers.

We bought a gas BBQ last year and what a difference it makes, so much easier

We've got friends around for afternoon lunch tomorrow (DD's sailing's at 2pm so lunch has to move ), and can't decide whether it's going to be warm enough for a BBQ yet.

We just bought one of those patio heater thingies, so we can still use the garden even though its a bit chilly. It seems like a good idea but whether it will actually work or not, I dont know.

We havent actually used it yet and wont get a chance this weekend because we are off to a friends wedding this afternoon!!!

We've just had ours we bought the disposable bbqs and just had some yummy burgers from Asda - chargrilled quarter pounders and minty lamb burgers, plus some Asda cheese pasta which is the best. Very nice it was too! It wasn't warm enough to eat outside unfortunately. I love BBQs

We bought a new one from Asda last week and used it for the first time on Thursday - it was great.

As I'm typing this we are waiting for the barbie to settle down for another one!

My DW Helen, is cooking tonight - I can't wait.

We got one from Asda last week and have used it twice although its nearly falling apart already the food was fantastic. Yesterday i put some new potatoes in some foil and cooked them on there along with burgers, marinated chilli chicken and chinese style pork on skewers. It was the best weather for it though but we enjoyed it

We enjoyed our BBQ, I hope you all did although it was a little chilly I hope the weathere keeps nice for the summer so we can get maximum use out of our Barbies

Not on the agenda for this w/end (DH is away on a fishing trip), but the weather would have been fine for it

This thread has given me some good suggestions for the next BBQ we do have - three veggies in the family sometimes makes barbie ideas tricky There's only so much you can do with a veggieburger!

We've had a gas BBQ for about four years now and I think it's fantastic. I had reservations about it to start with, as it felt like cheating, but we think the food tastes just as good with none of the mess and messing about involved with charcoal. We also buy the disposable ones to take with us when we go camping and they're great too
