Anyone have their gallbladder removed?

I had mine out 5 days ago. Anyone have like a spasm type pain right under the sternum, especially after eating/drinking anything? Other than that, its been a great recovery.

I had mine out a year ago...I remember the occasional spasm, I just associated it to nerves, and tissue and such healing...
my scars healed up nice and quick...I was having severe digestive problems, and since having it out, everything has been great.

I had my gallbladder removed 4 years ago. I don't remember spasms but I still have some discomfort/tenderness from that general area of my stomach. I think it's mostly due to the scars. Did you have laprascopic surgery? The first 2 days were pretty painful but after that I felt pretty good. I went back to work 4 days later. Probably could've used a few extra days but I was o.k. Hope you're recovering well.

I had laproscopic, and I feel great, I really do. Just the spasms are irritating. The occasional grab under my ribs. But it could be so much worse. I am thankful I am up and moving around so soon after.
