Anyone have questions regarding OKW,BW,MK,HS,EPCOT,DCL

Well first of all, thanks for the offer! When you stayed at BW, did the MK bus pick you up first before heading over to YC/BC? And same question for the boat to DHS. Thanks!

At OKW, do the internal buses also go to a specific park? Or do you have to ride the internal bus to the main stop and then take a different one to a park? Also, what order are the stops?

Where on Disney property can you walk to from OKW? I know you can walk to Saratoga Springs and then to DTD--is that right?

In my personal experience although it's been a couple years the bus usually stops at BW first or second meaning it's fairly empty and easy to find a seat it depends on the driver some take different routes and stop at different resorts first. The boat I believe follows this route from DHS: BW,YC/BC,SD it may be the reverse way but either way during the day the boats aren't very full at after the opening of the park but at park close the boats are packed if you are traveling without young kids it may be quicker walking to the BW from DHS but that depends on your room location and if you are able to walk that far I hear it's a pretty long walk. Hope this helps out sorry I can't be more accurate with my answers haven't been to the world in a couple years. happy Travels :)

Are you talking about the bus that runs inside OKW that will take you from the main building to the various buildings?

In regards in walking I've read that you can walk to DTD from OKW but beware there aren't lights on the path so I wouldn't use them at night, but I don't know if you can walk to Saratoga springs but I assume you can if you can walk to DTD

Thanks; we'll be staying at the Beach Club in the fall, and was just wondering if the bus would already be full when it got to our stop.

The boat route, from Epcot to DHS is...Epcot, BW, YC/BC, S/D, DHS. Reverse that when going the other way.
Very few people actually walk to DHS...takes about 20 mins. I routinely walk and don't have much company...even at park opening.

You have to walk through the golf course if you want to try walking from OKW to DTD...and the CMs at the golf course aren't very happy about that. They will stop you if they see you there.

It stops at the YC first, then BC, then Boardwalk.

You can take a boat to DTD from OKW during its operating hours and then walk from the boat dock over and around to SSR. Or you can take a bus from OKW to DTD, get off at the Marketplace, then walk to SSR from there.

Not always. We've gotten on at BW and then gone on to the S/D, YC and finally to BC. It's usually not an issue though. At the busy times of day, they sometimes run different buses..one for BW/S/D and another for YC/BC. When I've stayed at BC, I never found the buses to be an issue.

I was thinking more of the MK morning bus for park opening/rope drop. It seems to always be at the YC first. Of course if they fill it at the YC/BC they usually by-pass Boardwalk and just go straight to MK.

The bus marked Internal at OKW will ultimately go to DTD and Typhoon Lagoon. All the other buses make the route of OKW - Peninsular Road, South Point, Turtle Pond, Millers Road, and Hospitality House - before leaving for the theme parks. The Internal bus stops at HH first and last before leaving the resort. Sometimes the Internal Bus will stop at Millers Road after stopping at HH first.

You can walk to SSR from OKW but the path is not lit at night. You can also take a boat or a bus to DTD and walk over from DTD to SSR. Or catch a bus or boat at DTD to SSR.

Some Okw questions for you....
-are there dishwashers in the 2 bedrooms? If so, is there dish washing soap available?
-I thought I remembered reading that they provide tide laundry soap for the washer- can you confirm?
-are there portable cribs in each villa?
-approx how long will it take to use Disney trans. To get to mk? I recently asked in another forum but I'm wondering about other opinions...I don't want to miss rope drop!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Each villa larger than a studio will have a dishwasher and they do provide dishwasher detergent. If you need more, just ask. There is no charge for extra dishwasher detergent.

In one bedrooms and larger, they will provide a single use box of laundry detergent, usually Tide, on each service day.

Each villa, including studios will have a pack and play. Any lock off two bedroom will have two, one in the studio portion and one in the one bedroom portion.

Once the bus leaves the resort, it takes about 8-10 minutes to get to the MK. Depending on where you get the bus, add extra time for each stop. But once the bus gets to the MK, you still to get through Security and the ticket turnstile.

Hi -

I had posted this same question on another thread and then I found yours. You may know the answer to this or at least have a suggestion. My husband and I are staying at OKW next month for the first time in a Studio and we're wanting to stay in a *quiet* area, preferably upstairs, near the water or golf course. We don't need to be near a bus stop as we will have our own rental car. Whatever you can suggest would be appreciated. Thanks!
