Anyone have picture or map of the Festival of Fools Arena?

I am trying to game plan how I'm going to see Billy Hill there.

Sorry--I don't have much, but I did go to a tribute last summer for Wally Boag and Betty Taylor and took some pictures while there. I have no idea how it is going to be set up for Billy Hill, but this might help somewhat:

Thanks.

Will this really seat more than at the Golden Horeseshoe?

Yes, you could seat a lot of people there. I'm not sure how many attended the above tribute, but it was a lot more than could have fit in the GHS, which is one of the reasons (I was told) that they held in in the arena rather than the GHS.

Hey Mike!

I've got a blog going up on the Jamboree this week! Tons of photos that will give you a feel for it.

Let me know the next time you hit town. Also listen to our 15th anniversary of the DIS show in a week or so. I gave you and Danny a shout out.

Thanks Nancy! I look forward to all the new information about it. I will miss Billy being in the Golden Horseshoe for sure. We are scheduled to be in Disneyland June 27-July 3 but are trying to go out to catalina one day and maybe out to see some other things. A few days earlier we are hitting some of our favorite spots in San Diego.

I haven't seen Danny in quite sometime now. Hope he's doing well.

Always love the podcasts. Nice job on them!

This is located by the Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue out door restaurant. If you know where the petting zoo area is, as you go to the barbecue area it would be to your left. There is a big area that has been opened up.

I like that they have turned it into a place of Americana, with wood carvers and quilters there with some samples.

Thanks! Now I know exactly where it is! Our family saw Billy Hill for the first time on our last trip and we all loved it! (but we also liked eating mint ice cream while we watched)

Do you know if all the seats will have backs to them. My wife's back has really been hurting her and if she would have to sit for an hour on a bench it wouldn't be very welcoming. Just wondering.

Bumping - as Billy Hill and the Hillbillies will start playing at the Festival of Fools Arena (in the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree area) this Monday, June 18.

As far as I know - this arrangement is only expected to be for the summer. :)

This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks. The DLR website doesn't say "Festival of Fools", just BTR Jamboree which isn't searchable, it's a bit confusing. Thanks again.
