I'm doing an article on the top five closed attractions at Universal but finding photos is proving to be harder than I thought. It's become quite clear that Universal's history is not nearly as well documented as Disneys. ;)

Anways, if you have a photo or two of any of the following attractions and don't mind sharing, please PM me. Of course full credit will be given.

I'm looking for The Funtastic World of Hanna Barbera, Kongrontation, Back to the Future, and Star Trek: The Experience

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Orlando Informer. If you head over there and type "Burgan" in the search bar you'll get an idea of what I do. ;)

I don't remember Star Trek Experience anywhere in Florida. I remember it being Las Vegas, though.

I miss the Nickelodeon studio tour (you know, behind Ghostbusters!)

I might have some pics but I will have to look. I know I do have some of the old Nickelodeon area for sure. Maybe one or two from King Kong.

The Star Trek Experience was a Blue Screen personalized video thing you could do. It was located in the Paramount storefront next to Kongfrontation. (The storefront is still there and I believe it was later used for the IOA preview center. Currently the storefront and all the space has been repurposed as part of the Mummy queue).

I remember doing a video there when I was a kid. my dad was the science officer, I was the captain, and my brother was the helmsman....driving the ship with a big invisable steering wheel. :rotfl:

I'm not sure if my Brother still has the video packed away in a box someplace though or not.

I think the Star Trek Experience may be the most memorable thing my parents have ever done at the parks. It was definitely unique as not only were you "stars" of the video, it allowed you to mention a friend or family member who wasn't there, which is a neat surprise when you get home and get to show it to people.

I see only four attractions in your question. I bet that the other one is Jaws. :)

Because this pertains to another fan-based website which is not afflicated with the DisBoard, I am closing this thread. Good luck with your search. Maybe you can post this question on the forum there at Orlando Informer.
