anyone have mickey toaster?

Ok, so we got one for Christmas this year, it is not what we thought.
In order for the mickey head to appear we have to get to level 4 or 5 which is BLACK! Anything over a 2 is TOO done for us?!?!? Do we just have a broken one or does anyone else have this issue? But, we do LOVE the Mickey Mouse March it plays when it is done, so it is definately a "keeper"!

oh dont worry at all! my mom has one and the mickey will show up on 2 dont worry. No need to go to 4 or 5. All you have to do is keep it on 2 and once it pops up just put it down again, make sure you watch it, you dont want anything bad to happen lol ...if that doesnt do anything, i hate to say it but it might be broken or at least the mickey thing is out of whack somehow.

I have one but only because my mom got it as a freebie witha big order once. It's okay. I know what you mean about the Mickeys not showing up.

We have one. I just put it on level two - than push it down again for a few seconds longer. The Mickey show's up lightly. My sister just bought it for me for Christmas and had to return it because it didn't play the Mickey Mouse March - she just gave me the new one last week and so far so good.

yup I have had mine for 4 years and it doesnt show the face up very good at all .

I bought one for my Grandmother 2 years ago and it stopped playing music about 2 weeks after she got it but she did say that on 3 the face would show up LOL

I just purchased one at Target. I like light toast and the Mickey does not show up well at all. Honestly, that doesn't bother me.

Now on the other hand, what I am having problems with are my children (17 and 21) feel the need to hear the Mickey Mouse March every time they happen to wander by the toaster. They push it down and then hit the release just to hear it! They are driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've already warned them if they broke it they'd be moving out!!! LOL!

My brother got me one for Christmas, and the head does not show up well. I do as the others said, put it on two and put it back down for a few seconds. I love the Mickey Mouse March though.

I have one, and mine is similar to yours. And, my music stopped working...which is actually a blessing in disquise, I think LOL! It does bother me that one side of my toast is more done than the other...it's cute, but I think I might be in the market for a new toaster.

We've had ours about 3yrs. music still plays but hard to see the face unless you cook the toast a little longer than 2.

I got one for X-Mas and it's like everyone else's. I only use it on weekends when I'm making a big breakfast. That way the fun of hearing the music won't wear off.

Ok, I would say good I am not alone, but I guess we all wish we could have golden brown toast with mickey heads and mickey music to go along ... lol!

I will try to do the toast on a little more than 2 to see what happens! Thanks guys!
