I just read a couple books by Jodi Picoult, based on suggestions on these threads. My Sister's Keeper and Vanishing Acts -- I really enjoyed reading both of them and plan to read more. As you can see in my posts to the first two threads, I'm partial to Diane Gabaldon's Outlander series, which I have read several times.

OH, and BTW I am also a major Diana Gabaldon fan!! The Outlander Series are the only hard cover books I own (and could never part with).
