Interestingly, Delta fares seem to be on their way down for my dates, having been up in the $1000s for r-t non-stop initially, then down to the $800s a few months ago, then even a few mid-$500s this month. I have been trying to convince DW to jump on one decent (but not ideal) itinerary I have found for under $500, but she won't bite yet. We would of course prefer JetBlue to any other airline, but we'll see where things come out.
I am checking Kayak every day for my dates. I'll post here as soon as I have something.
Kayak is my new favorite airfare search site. Like Sidestep (another great service) it searches airline and travel sites and simply gives you a listing of what is out there. It then refers you to the website where you buy directly from the airline or travel site. For example, when I booked our Thxgiving fare, I did the search, found my fare, clicked on it ans was sent over to the JetBlue website, where I purchased the fare from the Airline. Both Kayak and Sidestep are advertising and possibly referral driven sites.disneyjunkie said:What's Kayak?
I'm also waiting for February fares to be released.
I was planning to go down on Friday the 16th. However, now I'm thinking of leaving on the 14th to get in on value season rates.
I hope by leaving 2 days early I'll get a decent rate on the flight down.![]()

BTW, the last few times JetBlue released a new batch of fares, for some reason they only showed up on a Kayak search, and not directly thru the website. SO I ended up searching on Kayak and buying my fare from the JetBlue site, as the fares were not yet available if searching on the JetBlue site. Yeah, it was odd.
