Anyone have gotten a great rate for plane tickets lately?

Yes, there are tons of great fares out there. I just paid $65 roundtrip from Houston to Dallas. :)

Where are you planning to go and when?

Wow!! That is a great rate!! We want to depart from Detroit on Sept 26 and depart from Orlando on Oct 3. Where can I find a great deal like that?! It is me, my DS 4 and DD 2.

well you just missed a sale that ended on the 24th but never fear there will be more coming out for your travel time frame. just be a little patient........

i got 2 tickets for march DFW to ORLANDO or DELTA for $104 roundtrip for next year.;) ;) ;)

We got roundtrip air from San Jose California for $160 for our upcoming August trip. United even gave my mother a senior discount and let her use the discount on a companion ticket too. So on two of the four tickets we had a 10% discount. For that price we were willing to drive the 2 1/2 hours to get to San Jose, opposed to flying out of Sacramento which is only 45mins from home.

About 2 weeks ago I got $138.50 for LGA-MCO on MetroJet.

Delta is offering free children's tickets with each paying adult at selected departure cities now until June 25th. (I think that's the ending date.) Also, WDW tickets for children free with each paying adult. Must be booked for September 2001. Check the posting on Delta's website. We just booked and saved $$$!

Hope this helps!

$261.50 from Pittsburgh over the New Year Holiday on US Airways (my preferred airline)! It was running $450 for a while! Also found $197 for February, but haven't booked yet. We paid $215 in March, and $245 last July. We've gotten PIT-MCO as low as $139 (in 1996). Cleveland is usually cheaper for us, $120 RT on Continental.

$149 round trip from JFK to MCO on July third at 6:00 pm! TWA. Wow! I don't know how I'll make it from Manhattan to JFK though, traffic is gonna be out of this world. We're getting a monorail for this route, but it won't be done for another few years.

since last feb fares to mco from pit have fluctuated so much its unreal! they started at 98 round trip to 129 to 151 to168 to 196.50 and up. I just got my sep fare for 168 and I am expecting to go to between 129 - 150 so I can get my refund voucher on the difference.

When we first moved to northern Michigan (can fly out of Grand Rapids, Traverce City or Midland) we found fares around $200.00 but the last year they have just skyrocketed. We go this December at a rate of 301.00 out of Grand Rapids on US Air. Tried to book my son just this morning out of Cleveland and in less than 2 hours the price jumped $30.00! I hate to take a chance on Detroit during the winter incase the weather is bad. I am envious of all of you with good fares still!

Those are great rates!! Why can't I find any good rates?! How does $209.50 w/tax roundtrip from Detroit to Orlando sounds? Total of $628.50 for the 3 of us (me, DD 2 and DS 4--all the same price!). This is the Spirit Airline. Non-stop which is good!!

If the price goes down, do we get a refund of the difference or you're locked in with that price? Do they call you and tell you that it went down and that they will refund you the difference or you should check their website and newspapers to see if it went down and call the airline?

Are you guys getting these deals through and an agency or directly from the airlines? Thanks!!
