I am trying to decide if I should try the Discovery Magic plan. My husband and I will be in visiting for four days in late August and are wondering if anyone has feedback on this package.. good or bad. We really enjoy trying different places for dinner and it always seems to add up when we are paying out of pocket. What do you think??

My husband and I used it last July. We figured the cost to be $880 to add it to our package. We used it all for meals- ate at great places. At the end of the trip, our receipts added up to $1352, so for us it was a good deal. We made sure we didn't waste any of the wishes on inexpensive meals. It was nice having a sit down lunch and late dinner during the summer when it's so hot. We really enjoyed the mid day break. We are using it again this year in 3 weeks.

Especially for meals and Cirque tickets/tours

You will get the most for your wishes using them for meals: 2 wish meals other than at Fulton's crab house are really not much more than 1 wish dinners price-wise.

It is interesting to note that in 2003, all "signature restaurants" will be 2 wishes...so now's the time to take advantage of eating at Jiko, Artist Point etc. while they are still one wish.

If you are not planning to utilize the "ultimate park hopper" passes - you might reconsider using this package as well.

take care,
LA
