I'm going with a small high school band of about 50 travelers. We thought we'd put everyone on one account so that we can share a memory maker. Would you suggest that one of us get the initial fast passes or should we assign a student to make them for their "group"? Going next spring break so it'll be busy.

Thanks!

Oh man, trying to secure 50 FP's at once is an exercise in futility.

If you absolutely must have everyone connected for memory maker, I'd assign "leaders" to get FP's for no more than five people at once.

I spent a lot of time aligning fastpass times to allow for 5th and more fastpasses. Example I was able to get 13 fp for the group, with an overlapping window. but there was nearly an hour spread. It took 20 minutes during a rainy AK afternoon to slowly bring the start times together one at a time. Finally did it, got to KS, then began again for FotLK.

I cannot imagine how much of a hassle it would be to manage 50 guests.

Not everyone is going to want to ride the same things at the same times, nor will they even want to all be together throughout the day if they don't have to. Groups will split off almost immediately. Save yourself the stress and break it up.

My son had the same experience this past Spring Break, March 2017. Band about the same size. They split up into groups of 6 or so. Much easier to make fastpass reservations. There were times when all groups met up, but I think it would be pretty difficult to tour all day with that large of a group.

As far as Memory Maker, not sure what the best plan would be. You could connect everyone on MDE, but as we found out, you need to make sure those that are setting up fastpasses don't accidentally delete others' fastpasses. Happened to us and we had to spend some time at guest services.

No not even trying to do anything together! What a nightmare that would be! LOL! I'm sure that some groups will gather as the days go on. I guess I need to hold a learning session with the leaders of each group and teach them how to get started.

The last time I went with another large group, the fast passes were the paper ones. Our family goes and I know how important it is to get FP for prime attractions. Just trying to plan before we start coming together as a group. Next week, I do room assignments! Thanks everyone!
