Since CRT will undergo many new changes after February 1st, there have been reports here on the dis that they are taking the new photo packages/testing them out. i would love to see the photos if anyone has them! :cool1:

We went in December and had our pics taken with Cindy. However, we did not buy them because we all looked so bad, except for Cindy, of course! :teeth:

I think it was $25 for a pic of the castle and the pic they take of you.

The package is part of the new plan that is starting in Feb, so I don't think anyone will have the new package yet.

We had ours taken last week, but did not buy them. It is a large pic (8x10?) of your group with Cindy and one of the castle. Also inc. were several smaller pictures .. maybe 4 4x6s? The price was $29. They came in a nice heavy duty cardboard folder with the castle pic on one side and the group one on the other side... rather like a double sided frame.

Did any of you by chance get offered the lithograph as well?? We'll be dining at CRT for dinner on the 30th of this month, and I had no idea they were doing the photo packages already!! I thought too that they started on the 1st.

From what it says on allears, the new photo packages are;

(For Breakfast and Lunch) when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal.

(For Dinner) You will also have the chance to have your photo taken before dining, with a photo package similar to that mentioned above offered to you during the meal. In addition, you will receive a special, unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50), given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

We were there for my birthday on 12/23 and we bought the package described above. I was not aware they were doing the package already until we arrived for check-in at the podium. DH bought it for me because it was my birthday and I will probably never get to celebrate my birthday there again.

They were offering the package when we went on December 6th. You still paid the regular prices for breakfast but had the option of buying the photo package. They had Cinderella staying in the foyer on the first floor the entire time so they could take these pictures. We thought they were overpriced and didn't buy them.

Is Cindy is in the lobby all day, does this mean there is an extra princess upstairs filling in for her?

There was Belle, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Fairy Godmother, and then Cinderella in the lobby. Same as always as far as princesses go.

My SIL just got back, and she purchased the picture package so I saw it afterwards. I admit that I was somewhat disappointed.

The cardboard folder was nice, but I had in my mind that it was going to be a nicer folder (not cardboard, and I don't know where the mental image came from.) Also, she said that the photographer only snapped two photos (but how many can I expect them to take). I was unclear about who picked which photo was better. The 6x8 and 4 4x6 pics were all of the same pose. (Again, I guess I should have known that, I just thought, never having dealt with a Disney photo package before, that the 4 4x6 pics were going to be a series of pics, or, if you have several members of your party, a pic of each of them.)

I think I was just totally naive about what to expect, which is what led to my disappointment. Thinking in Disney mode, it probably wasn't such a bad value after all.

Sorry, I don't have any of the pics to post. It was Cindy with my niece, as I recall it was an upper-body shot. I do not believe it was a full-length pose.

It seems as if this package is similiar to the ones at Chef Mickey's and O'hana's.

I bought the overpriced package on January 6th. It is currently in the large mess in my room that needs to be unpacked. It was in a pinkish peach folder that says something to the extent of "on a very special day Cinderella invited her friends to join her for a royal feast in her castle." It sounds better than that though, I just can't remember the exact wording. Then on the inside of the folder on the left is a picture of the castle (with all the Happiest Celebration decor) and on the right is a picture of my family, both 8X10's. There was also an envelope inside with 4 or so 4X6's. If I take a picture of it on my digital camera I could attempt to post it here but I really could not even begin to know how to do that...
