We are considering switching from our AT&T prepaid wireless to Boost for their $50 unlimited plan. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with Boost or can recommend a different wireless plan that would be equivalent. Boost offers unlimited everything minutes, text, multimedia texts, web, email, IM, 411, callwaiting, voicemail, Long distance, free incoming internatinal long distance, etc..)

Can even upgrade to a blackberry unimited plan for $60.

I am eating through minutes now on my prepaid at&t. Any help gang?

Now DH wants to try the unlimited plan our AT&T gophone prepaid offers. Anyone use that?? It's $60 but offers better coverage, no need to get phone unlocked to attept to keep same number and I can use it internationally when I travel to Greece next year.

I have a Boost with the $50 plan, went from AT&T contract paying about $150 a month! Boost is good, you get unlimited talk, text, 2-way and web. The only problem is that occasionally their texting will go out, I have had my phone for about 1 year and this has happened 3 times that I can recall- I will not be able to send or receive texts for anywhere from a couple of hours to 2 days. A few weeks ago I stopped getting texts about midnight Friday night and then at 4am Monday morning a ton of texts came through all at once. My area doesn't have the largest coverage for Boost either, so sometimes my service goes out but not very often. Even with those little quirks, I love my Boost!

Yeah, that's a big concern. Heard some horror stories. but Poor DH was on the phone for an hour and a half this morning with AT&T trying to activate their unlimited service. I thought he was going to have a break down. He managed to get it turned on for this month but after the month we may go "Office Space" on the cell phone with a crowbar and buy a new Boost phone and their plan.

Ridiculous!

Both my mom and my brother use their phones a lot for business and have Boost unlimited. They both like it. They have had good service in our area and when they broke their phones (my brother is a contractor so goes through them a lot) Boost was more then reasonable with replacements.

I will warn you that if you travel you may have problems. I don't think roaming is included and the coverage wasn't great for my brother when he was 60 miles west of Cleveland for a job. In town, which is where they are most of the time, they have had good reception. We are in a pretty big city though, not sure how well it would work in a more rural setting.

I was excited to hear that Boost had $60/mth Blackberry. Until I looked at their coverage map. :sad1: :sad2: I don't live in a city, travel around our state a lot, and it was just full of holes.

Sticking with my AT&T prepaid because at least I get coverage just about everywhere.
