The only things I would think about adding would be 2 swimsuits per person. We went last August and many times would swim in the afternoons and then come back to the hotel and swim at night as well. Swimsuits would never be dry after rinsing them out in the afternoon. I just prefer to put a dry swimsuit on instead of a wet one.

We also bring an extra pair of park shoes for the same reason really. Don't like to wear wet sneakers. Often DH and I would splash in the puddles and fountains with the kids and needed a dry pair of shoes for the evenings.

We drove last year and found we took too much stuff for the van. Gameboys, movies, coloring books, all that kind of stuff. They only used about half of it. The movies were a big hit to pass the time. But they also enjoyed seeing the scenery and playing I Spy and Name That Tune with cd's. Of course, maybe I'm just have weird kids. :confused3 :rotfl:

shampoo & conditioner (unless you are going to use what's at the resort)
any other hair products
make-up
shaving cream
razor
lotion
brush/comb

Well.. thank you for the list.. I'll be using it:thumbsup2
The only thing that jumped out at me was making sure to have the car chargers for the handheld game systems (Nintendo DS e.t.c)
We did a long drive last weekend and forgot ours and it died after the kids used it for all of 10 minutes.
Not fun.

I thought of one other thing. My little ones like to make the pressed pennies so we carry the M&M minis containers filled with quarters and pennies alternating 2 quarters, 1 penny till it's filled. Makes it much easier than trying to dig through my park bag to find the right change.

If you want to take something off your list, your resort will have swim vests to borrow, free of charge!

It is a little different at each resort...either you "check them out" by showing resort id, or borrow from bins around the pool area. You can borrow for the lenghth of your stay. It will save you tons of room in your luggage!

oh that is good to know
thanks

I would add a baggie full of pre-cut squares of moleskin. You can use moleskin in a variety of ways from protecting against blisters, protection AFTER a blister has started, padding on a shoe where it always makes a blister....

and don't forget just plain old ice completely takes the itch out of bug bites. Ice the area until it's almost uncomfortable and that's it.

Have a great trip! (too soon to pack? You be the judge.......we don't go again until next January but I've already got a box full of stuff for our trip. LOL)

i 2nd the moleskin, in SPADES! that stuff has saved my feet i don't know how many times! and if you have room, bring your own beach towels. saves you from worrying whether you have enough towels in your room. i think some resorts have them by the pools, but i don't count on that. i also bring flip-flops for each of us to wear in the shower-i have a fungi phobia. put shoes on, step in shower, wash bod, one foot out, wash & rinse, slip foot back in, do other foot...LOL. we wear flip-flops in the shower at ANY hotel we stay at. the m&m minis tube with quarters & pennies is great. DD LOVES pressed pennies and is always looking for ones she doesn't have. stack them in the tube 2 quarters, 1 penny, 2 quarters, 1 penny, etc. we use shiny pennies, just b/c DD prefers them, lol. your packing list is great, btw! VERY thorough!
