I read that there is a new animatronic experience at Chefs de France with Remy from Ratatouille...has anyone experienced this? Do all diners get to see Remy? My DD would love this!
And this is from allears:
Les Chefs de France restaurant As of March 9, guests who dine are being treated to a unique kind of entertainment, allowing them to meet the culinary rat Remy, from the movie Ratatouille. Remy is an Audio-Animatronics puppet who, along with the restaurant maitre d' (a comedic actor), engages guests by performing a series of humorous, theatrical vignettes, using a moving food cart with a silver-domed cheese platter as their stage. Remy can make a variety of noises and comes across as a living, breathing little character with a point of view all his own. The Remy Cart was conceived by WDI Research & Development with support from WDI Creative Entertainment. Remy can be seen 12:30 - 6 p.m. at Les Chefs de France through September 5, 2009. (Remy can also be seen at Disneyland Paris where he's been entertaining guests since last summer.)
The above quoted information does not mention that Remy doesn't appear on Sundays. Don't make your reservation on a Sunday if your main reason for making the reservation is to see him.
It's also been reported that he is not wheeled to every table in the restaurant - for best view you should be seated where there is an aisle.
I have reservations at 6:20pm on a Wednesday. Since Remy's last appearance is at 6pm, does this mean that we will miss out? My kids would love to see Remy, but I don't want to tell them about it if we won't get to see him. Thanks.
We saw Remy at Chefs in early March. He's so cute and the lady presenting him that day was hysterical. There had been no news of him at that point so it was a complete shock when she lifted the cover.
There was not interaction with every table but I don't think that mattered. Everyone in our area could see him well I think. Then she moved on to another area. I wouldn't worry about where you are seated.

I'm wondering that too. We have reservations on a Thursday at 6:20 and my son absolutely loves him but I don't want to say anything if he won't be there. I really hope he is though!
