Anyone Have Any Ideas?

My daughter's 4th birthday is going to fall during our big family Disney trip October 2017. Because of this she will not have a birthday party with all our her friends and our extended family. My husband and I want to do something extra special for her.

We are already planning on booking the BBB and the princess tea party (gifts from her grandparents) and we are having dinner at CRT. Does anyone have any ideas?

I would call the hotel and and see if they can recommend anything. Sometimes they can have things in the hotel room waiting for her.

Get her a slipper chocolate at CRT! You could also get her a special birthday cake. Here is the current thread about all things special cake at DIsney.

If you don't want a big cake you can also get a mini cake at CRT themed to different things.

I agree with the pp, I think you are covered. I mean........ she will be in Disney for her birthday. It doesn't get much better than that for a 4 year old (or a 40 year old LOL!) You are overthinking. Get a cake at the dinner on her birthday, or have a cake delivered to the room. She will be thrilled.

I think what you've planned plus, perhaps a birthday cake is quite an amazing birthday. WDW plus BBB, perfectly princess and CRT? Honestly, how will birthdays 5, 6, 7, etc. ever compete. I don't think I would add anything else.

As a kid who had several birthdays at WDW and went through the run of CRT, BBB, and tea parties at GF? It's easy to turn into a birthday monster if you get too much spoiling. What you have already sounds amazing! My favorite birthday at WDW was my 6th when my parents ordered me a custom cake and we had it poolside at GF and I invited all the kids in the area to have my cake with me and everyone sang to me. It was like having a birthday party with kids from back home.

There is always a possibility that this can happen, but it is never a guarantee and I would not count on them doing anything celebratory.

OP, if you want to do something really special, order her a cake or some kind of special dessert for her at CRT.

My favorite birthday at WDW was my 6th when my parents ordered me a custom cake and we had it poolside at GF and I invited all the kids in the area to have my cake with me and everyone sang to me. It was like having a birthday party with kids from back home.

The cake chatter thread linked above will give you instructions on how to order the cake to be delivered to your room and then you can easily bring it down to the pool.

I think you've pretty much got it covered but maybe for a little something extra give her her very own Disney Gift Card to spend so she can pick out a couple of gifts on her special day.

I called Private Dining for the hotel we were staying at and ordered this cake for her. They came and set it up in the room while we were in the park, they provided the candles and matches so we could sing Happy Birthday.
