Anyone have any experience with Porter Airlines and flight time changes?

I just received notification that both of my flights to Melbourne Florida changed. The one down is now 45 mins later, and the one home about 55 mins later. I am just curious before I call if anybody knows what my options are?
Honestly, since I have booked them, I have dreaded the whole getting to the airport. I love Buffalo airport and would much prefer it. The whole parking thing downtown Toronto and taking a subway with luggage, if I could get a full refund I would do it and book out of Buffalo with the exchange even, plus I have a $280 credit with Southwest from our upcoming Xmas flights I could use!

It depends on the terms of your tickets. Were they cancellable?

Your rights are spelled out in the tariffs for the airline, but in general any delay of less than 2 hours is considered normal, so I doubt a change of less than an hour gives you any additional rights. They would probably consider a change to a connecting flight if your transfer window became too short as a result.

DH got a $100 credit when his afternoon flight was cancelled and put on the next flight that evening. He received an e-mail about 3 hours before saying it was cancelled, and he was rebooked automatically. He never got an explanation why it was cancelled.

This is not a cancelable fare. But I know other airlines are good at refunding or allowing u to change flights. But this is the only flight either way.
I will call tomorrow morning.

Just wanted to report back that porter will cancel them and give me a full refund if needed.

Wow! Now that's great customer service as they don't have to refund that ticket type. I do like Porter for the convenience, but that is customer service above and beyond WestJet!

I agree bankr63, I had to wait a full day to see what they could do. I had booked them at $1660 round trip for 4 us, (that's including seat fees) and I may keep them. They have made a notation in my file and I have 14 days to decide if I will accept the changes or not. The problem was I have 11 of us flying on that flight and 7 of them are flying in from different places and meeting at Pearson and taking a shuttle they hired to take them to YTZ, for us, it didn't matter to much, for the others, its screwing up their connections. So kudos to Porter, oh and the other thing was Porter only flies Sat from YTZ to Melbourne, so kind of a unique thing.
