Anybody know any cute ideas for costumes for my 2 yo DS for the party??? Something that isn't really hot and cool and lightweight, would love to hear your suggestions out there???? TIA
Kristy

What about Peter Pan I would think the spandex might be cooler than bulky things? :confused3

Some of the lightweight Disney pajama sets look like costumes - Buzz Lightyear or Power Ranger. Also, if you aren't opposed to non-Disney, I found some cute Spider Man and Superman pajama sets at Kohl's that could double as a Halloween costume. Then you could still use the pj's in the fall.

We havent gone for the party, but my friend goes every year. She enjoys it now that the kids are older and she can relax a bit, because everyone dresses the same. So I highly reccommend you pick something bright and different.

As the mother of three boys, my sons have been...

skeleton
cowboy
firefighter and dalmation together (my favorite- they were so cute that year)
baseball player
basketball player
bobo fett (star wars)
bumble bee
President Bush
Parrothead

My older son has issues with scary stuff so Ive always tried to come up with something non-threatening and fun

Ive also seen Doctor.

Good luck and have fun. We hope to get to the MNSSHP some year.

Hummm was just thinking. I am moving to Florida so my trip coming up Sept 3rd will be permanent(or atleast semi-perm) and I was wondering what MNSSHP entails?? What all do they have for it. Trick or treating or what? I haven't decided what dd will be yet thought. I guess I will let her help decide when time is closer. But she does really love Mickey and Minnie.

Last year my kids were:

DD(5) Wendy- I was going to make (well beg my sister to help me) a blue nightgown but then I found a perfect light blue princess one on clearance at the Disney Store.

DS(4) Peter Pan-I didn't like the Disney Store one so I made him the shirt and purchased the Peter Pan hat at WDW. He just wore shorts and a T under it.

DD(21 months) Tinkerbell-ordered the infant one online from Disney because it had short sleves. The girl's one at the Disney Store had long sleeves so I happy the infant one had short sleeves.

peter pan thing is always cute, captin hook, john, mike, mickey,or he could be original and go as like a disney picnic (if you want to know how to make that just PM me) alot of thing are cute but remember that theres going to be lots of people and it will be hot. So your son might not like being hot while wearing a bulky costume and waiting on long lines.
