Anyone have an opinion of SANUK yoga sling flip flops for the parks? (and/or everyday life)

I got the Sketchers Yoga Slings last summer. Wore them quite a bit. They were great for me because they molded to my high arch. I wore them everyday at the Parks last week. I had other shoes as well, just these were so comfortable. We walked more than 10 miles each day. Best my feet have ever felt at the parks. Everybody's feet are different. What worked for me might not work for you. I don't like my feet to be hot, do these were great.

They are not very cute but are super comfy...Oofos. They come in flip flops, slides and clogs and they come in many colors. They have them at the fit2run store at Disney Springs. They are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever worn.

I have worn my Sanuk yoga slings everyday during my last two trips, and I'm planning to do the same during my upcoming trip in May! I got mine a few years ago, so they are a little different looking than the ones available now. But I absolutely swear by them. The fabric straps are KEY! I have never had one blister after wearing these day after day! I love not having to worry about them falling off my feet because they wrap entirely around your foot! I've only done Kali once with them, and I can't remember getting super soaked, so I can't say how well they do in water. The only issue I had last time was the large knot between my toes started to put a bit of pressure on my foot after a few days. But I just put a piece of paper tape on that part of my foot under the knot, and that seemed to help. But honestly, it was a minor issue lol. I'm trying to get my BF to get some because he ALWAYS has blister issues when we are there lol.

I swear by my Birkenstocks. They are the only shoe I wear at DW. However, after our first trip and getting caught in what we call "The Monsoon Night" I've learned to bring a lightweight pair of waterproof shoes that I can toss in my backpack for the just in case. Birks are great, but become oil slicks once wet, and then they pretty much stay damp. Not too comfortable for the rest of the days. For our upcoming trip, I'm going to get a pair of waterproof Birks. Hopefully I'll love them! I just can't do closed toed shoes at the parks. My feet like to be free :tiptoe:

While they are comfortable I find they are not good for the parks. They are a bit too loose/floopy on the foot. It's quite easy to catch the end of the shoe as I walk. Making them a trip hazard. I believe it's because the top of the shoe stretches so much.

These show up on Zulily all the time. I always consider them but am unsure of sizing. How to you find they run?

I have the same problem with them being too loose. Good for short walks, not good for the parks. I like my Birks (flip-flop style), or Teroks. The Teroks are waterproof and squishy, but still have arch support. I alternate between these 2. :)

The Skechers walking shoes (GoWalks?) at least have some arch support. The Sanuks have none.

I have these Sanuks, which are thicker than the yoga slings appear to be. They're my go-to flip flops for around the house, and they're holding up well after several years. BUT...I can't imagine wearing them all day in a theme park, walking for miles. For running errands for an hour or two, they're fine. Walking miles with no arch support would ruin me for the rest of the trip (and I speak from experience). And those thin soles, on concrete all day!

When you're doing WDW, it's more like an athletic event than sightseeing. Choose your shoes like you would for a marathon. Proper support and comfort are everything, appearance is pretty meaningless.

I like them, but I usually only wear them when I walk for short distances. They don't have enough support for a full day of walking, at least for me.

I wore them on my last trip, never had an issue. It really does depend on what you usually wear. I wear vans, converse, uggs and flip lops most of the time. I have naturally strong arches, so i don't need much arch support.
