Anyone have an iPhone with the DL Ride Wait app?

So, does it tell you where to find the shopping item you're looking for?

Our trip is 6 months out, but DH already has the Wait Times app on his phone. How much is the GotPlans one?

The gift list is a play to log your gifts not where they are located. I payed .99 when it first came out. You can check out the itunes store for the current price. We also use DLP Walkee alot.

I have the GotPlans on my Iphone and love the app.You can look up the type of food you want to eat and even gives you the menu with prices on there. Also for shopping category is pretty nice a feature. You are able to check what shops usually sell such as dvds, pins, seasonal items, or even specialized items.

Love the GotPlanS app. It had to be less than $5, because I wouldn't have bought it if it was more. We've used it on two different weekend trips and it's so handy.

How do you like the DLP Walkee App? I have that and another app (can't think what its called, its on my SO's iPhone...)...when was the last time you used it? Does it work great for both DL/DCA?

It works great for both parks. Uses your GPS to locate which park you are in for posting. It is used daily by my daughters even though we are 1200 miles away.

Lol.... I am so excited because after a year and a half of being able to get a new free phone with my provider and holding out....they will finally be carrying the iphone starting Nov.1....I am so glad I waited and I like your daughters will be constantly checking this just because it makes the park seem so much closer!

I really enjoy having mine whereever I go. Do not really need my laptop anymore. There are tons of free aps in the itunes store. I also use the camera for quick snaps. Have fun.

So I bought this app and it looks like it will be helpful even though I will have to use it offline. But I can't find the menus for CA anywhere. Am I missing something? I wanted to find whitewater snacks or whatever that everyone has been talking about.

Whitewater Snacks isn't really in DCA, but in the hotel next to it (GCH). Just use the DCA hotel exit and turn left at the end of the hall. I don't have that app so can't say if it is on there or not. But it is in the hotel, not DCA.

that is so good to know...the not needing the laptop thing.... I do know if I use it (or any cell) to make calls in the US I will have a 95cent per minute roaming fee We have a plan so I don't pay an actual long distance charge but a buck a minute is a bit steep! I hope that does not apply to using apps and maps and stuff...will have to investigate that before our trip!

So- I JUST purchased my I-Phone and of course this is obviously "the app for me" How do I find it? Just go to Itunes and search "disneyland"?

I think the app is called "Disneyland Wait Times" or something to that affect. The app is free. I'm assuming you find it in iTunes but I'm not really sure as I don't have an iPhone myself (my friend has it).
