Anyone have a T-REX Update

We will be arriving Oct. 22 and was wondering if anyone has a recent update reguarding T-Rex? I know there set to open OCT.14, but have not heard or seen anything on this in about a month.

I happened to walk by it this past Saturday (Oct 4) and all the fences were down and there was a large sign out fron stating "Opening October 14". So, at least as of a few days ago, it was properly on target for the rumored opening date.

I can't wait to ck this out. Does anybody know if they will be putting it on the Dinning plan for 09 ?

I talked to a CM yesterday to try and make a reservation for December. She said reservations cannot be made quite yet, but to call back every few days. They are waiting to get the green light for the CONCRETE opening day.

There has been plenty on T-Rex on the boards. Opening date is October 14. They will not take reservations until 2009, and then they will not take reservations through WDW-DINE, you will have to contact the restaurant directly (that is also the way RFC at DTD works, although the AK one takes reservations through Disney). It will not be on the regular or deluxe dining plans. They'll take the premium and platinum plans.

1) Rain Forrest and T-Rex do not get enough reimbursement to be on DDP.
2) Premium/Platinum Dining gives enough, so it covers RFC and T-Rex.

I guess whenever someone gets the telephone number to make a reservations they will pass it along.
