Anyone have a pretrip checklist or packing list?

Now that my holiday stuff is completed...I am looking on working on our packing for our trip next month...does anyone have a checklist of things to do before leaving and a master packing list?? It would be so helpful!

No packing list but one tip when I had young kids - when my kids were in the "I want to pick out my own clothes" mode but I was not really willing to let that happen I packed an outfit (down to underwear and socks) in a baggie - that way I could let them "pick" a bag each day but I knew that they'd be somewhat well dressed. It also made it easy to tell the clean clothes from the dirty - if it was folded in a bag it was still clean!

Zip lock bags.

That is a quick list. I will add more if I think of them Remember nothing over 3 oz if you are traveling on a plane.
