Anyone have a picture or info on Remy Fantasy dinner menu?

Hey! We leave in less than two weeks and it will be our first time eating at Remy. We kind of have some foods we don’t like and want to make sure we really do want to eat there. For example, my husband is not a seafood eater, I can eat the ocean. We both do not like lamb and beets. Can anyone offer any help? Seems like menus on line are older…..

Remy can tailor a meal to meet your requirements. Just stop by shortly after you board and ask to note on your reservation anything you absolutely cannot or will not eat. My husband and I don’t eat shellfish, he is allergic to bell peppers, and I have a strong aversion to mushrooms. We had two of the best dinners of our lives at Remy,

That sad, if it’s just a matter of “I have never had beets I liked,” you may want to try foods you think you don’t like made by excellent chefs. I don’t usually care for asparagus or Brussels sprouts, but would eat the ones I had at Remy again with no hesitation.

So, you can try to find more recent menus (I don’t know how often the menus change) but you can also avoid anything that you know you will not eat.

Thank you, that is helpful and we will ask for some accommodation. We have no allergies fortunately. I too absolutely cannot stand the smell or taste of mushrooms, not even on my plate! My husband loves them. I am always open to new things, but lamb, mushrooms and beets are a hard stop!

This was our Brunch menu for Remy on 5/25. I think dinner is similar as in the menu really doesn’t tell you much at all.

But as the previous poster said you can have noted what you don’t eat and they will accommodate you. Neither of us eats shellfish and instead of the lobster we got the most amazing potato gnocchis. I am still dreaming of them today! Your server will also explain all dishes in detail before you order and then again when the fish is served.

Disney Cruise Line Blog has all the menus for the restaurants on board (they are updated frequently and dated; if it looks like an older menu that just means they haven't changed the menu since that one was posted). You can take a look there at what's offered and hopefully find something that will fit your tastes. And, as others noted, they will accommodate your tastes.

Though I will say, if you find you would be significantly altering menu items, then Remy might not be worth it. It's expensive, partially because of the level of the dishes they serve, and if you are 'taking away' a lot of that it might not be worth the price. I'm certainly not telling you what to do, just noting that if you find you are significantly altering the dishes then maybe Remy isn't the place for you. But if you're just asking avoiding certain dishes or asking for mushrooms to be left out, that's pretty minor.

I second this! There have been times I've been at fancier restaurants and wanted to avoid a dish because of an ingredient I wasn't a fan of (or I thought the combination of ingredients was strange). But I trusted the chefs, and usually the dishes were very enjoyable!

That is actually why I want to see an menu.
If we need to alter much, takes away from the experience.

Here’s a blog that should help:

Under the food item “Tomate” is the wine they serve with that course if you choose the wine experience. (Edit: each item‘s accompanying wine is shown below that item).

There should be two menus from which to choose. This one is called “Saveur.” They don’t give you a lot of details on the menu - just the main item.

The blog has photos and descriptions to take you through a meal. Shoukd give you a good idea of what the food is.

The servers are not rushed; you may ask questions. They will ask you if you have questions. Substituting an item does not throw them off. A simple, I don’t care for X will be met with something else very nice. If they ask if it’s an allergy, it’s just to be sure they don’t cross-contaminate your food. It’s okay to not want or like something.

This is a great way to try some new things. I have done it once with friends. It’s not for my family, so I have not done it again. I view it as a special experience that I am glad I did - and would try it with other like-minded friends or family. It’s only “stuffy” if you are stuffy.
