Anyone have a marinade for chicken using Dr. Pepper??

My DD has had chicken with a Dr. Pepper marinade and wants to have it tomorrow for her birthday. I dont have a recipie for it and the person that fixed it cant remember it. Does anyone have a recipie for a chicken marinade that uses Dr. Pepper?

I make a marinade for pork chops with coke that kids just love, I am sure it would go well with chicken also.

1/2 cup of coke
1 tb brown sugar
a few squitrs of ketchup

You can always tweek it your way... HTH

This is how my sister makes it......I've never had it, so I couldn't tell you if it's good or not!

1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce---she said she used this sometimes, so optional
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 (12 ounce) can Dr. Pepper cola
1/4 teaspoon salt

Thanks for the replies. I have used the coke/ brown sugar one on a ham in the crockpot. Tasty. I will try the Dr Pepper one on the chicken tonight.
