I am looking to buy a Mac Twin but I am unsure which one. I need whichever one has the deepest, widest seat. Also- how small do they fold up and are they easy to fold? TIA!!! princess:

I have the twin traveller..it has a nice big storage basket and comfy seats that recline flat, it comes with a rain cover and the leg covers for the cold weather. My girls are getting bigger now (4 1/2 and 3 1/2) they still don't mind being in it, and now my 7 month old goes in and loves it. I just wish they had some sort of tray..that the only probem with the macs.
It folds up nice and compact, but is a bit heavy..but no where near most of the other strollers out there, and it is so easy to push.

I have the Mac Twin Traveller also. It is very heavy, I think, when folded and putting into the trunk of the car. I also wish there were some sort of tray. I bought mine online for $320, free shipping, no tax. I just looked and found it even cheaper. This is the same one I have!

Also, this site has several of the different colors on sale as well with free shipping also:

It does ride well and the 5 point harness is great. Fits through all doors easily.

Another Twin Traveler here! I love it and think money well spent. Occaisionally I think it would have been nice to have a tray, but I really think the trays are more hastle than help. For instance, my kids can get in the stroller without me having to pick them up and over a tray. I use all the features(recline, rain cover, leg rests, etc) True, it is heavy, folds up pretty compact, but sturdy!

Another shout out for the Twin Traveler! We have had ours for 18M's and LOVE IT! Yes a tich on the heavy side, but well made! I love how easy it is to push and that I could put an infant in it, since the seat recline. Also the big baskets are nice. My complaint...when I open it, I feel taht I am going to break it with my foot...never has happend though.

We have a twin traveller too. The seats are plenty big.. my 8 year old sister sits in it on occasion and still fits! It has decent storage underneath and folds easily (like most Macs). We like it a lot.

I'm pregnant with #2 and was considering this stroller or the Twin Techno.

How is it on Disney Transportation? Can you wheel right on the monorail in the handicap cars? Can you wheel on the canal boats by MGM/Epcot? I'm so used to doing all this with a single. Can't imagine having to take two kids out everytime we board transporation (non buses).

ok..I've been researching this myself. Wts are from Mac site so they are accurate.

2005 Twin Traveller 32.4 lbs
2005 Twin Rally 26.8 lbs

2006 Twin Rally 21.6 lbs
- 4.5 inch wheels
- 29inch wide
- 44 inch long folded
- 42inch handle heioght

2006 Twin Techno 25.7 lbs (replacing the Traveller)
- 6 inch wheels
- 30inch wide
- 45inch long folded
- 44inch handle height
- has all features of Rally plus
shoulder pads
sun visor
extendable leg rests
height adjustable handle
boots and head huggers
bottle holder
so if any of those are not deal breakers then go with the cheaper Rally.

Cheapest site online I've found is at Babydealz.com. I bought my single Mac Technow form them and had a great transaction.

2004 Twin Traveller owner here.

In all honesty:

3.5 year old ds's shoulders rotate inward when sitting.
I am 5'10'' and I do kick the middle wheel when walking. I do have to adjust my stride when pushing.
It was the most difficult of all my strollers in learning to fold.

Yet, it handles well. It folds compactly. And I look oh so cool cause the word "Maclaren" is embroidered/printed in highly visible areas. :joker:

You can roll on with a double in all the above mentioned places. The only pain is the buses where you have to fold it.

i have the rally & love it for older babes...not too great for newborn...stuck with combi for that bc it is flat instead.

I also have the Mac Rally. No problems with 3.5 y.o. fitting in it. I'm 5'7" and do not have any problems kicking it when walking. We're taking this to Disney so we won't have to haul both kids. We want a stroller at the resort and to use getting to the buses from the parks. We thought it would be easier battling folding the stroller for the buses than carrying 2 kids everywhere.
